Description

Air and Sea-surface Temperatures from MAERISST

The data are measurements of the ocean skin SST and near-surface air-temperature derived from the natural infrared emission from the ocean and atmosphere, measured by the Marine-Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer (MAERI). M-AERI is a Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) sprectoradiometer. Calibration is traceable to NIST standards.
