The EGU General Assembly 2011 brings together geoscientists from all over the world into one meeting spanning all disciplines of the Earth, Planetary and Space Sciences.

Cyndy Chandler will represent BCO-DMO presenting the ocean informatics work done by BCO-DMO staff members with special focus on data management, interoperability of distributed systems, data publication, shipboard data handling and ontology development.  The presentations represent work from projects being done with collaborators from other communities in ocean informatics.
