Description

Photoquadrats from St. John, USVI, were used to assess the abundance of soft corals from 6 sites on shallow reefs of St. John, USVI from 1992-2012. This retrospective analysis was augmented with in situ surveys in July and August 2013 that were used to quantify the accuracy and precision of the octocoral population census conducted using photoquadrats.
