Instrument: Isotope-ratio Mass Spectrometer
The Isotope-ratio Mass Spectrometer is a particular type of mass spectrometer used to measure the relative abundance of isotopes in a given sample (e.g. VG Prism II Isotope Ratio Mass-Spectrometer).
Analyses were conducted at the Analytical Facility, Marine Science Institute, UCSB on a Finnigan Delta Plus Advantage continuous flow system with Costech ECS 4010 elemental combustion. The Finnigan DELTAplusAdvantage is a stable isotope ratio MS for dual-inlet and continuous-flow applications.
