An Agilent 1100 HPLC with an integrated autoinjector, quaternary pump, and fraction collector was coupled to an Agilent 1100 LC/MSD SL mass spectrometer with a multimode source that was operated in positive atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI+) mode.
