Instrument: Isotope-ratio Mass Spectrometer
The Isotope-ratio Mass Spectrometer is a particular type of mass spectrometer used to measure the relative abundance of isotopes in a given sample (e.g. VG Prism II Isotope Ratio Mass-Spectrometer).
Isotopic analysis was conducted on a Thermo Trace GC Ultra (Thermo Fisher Scientific, West Palm Beach, FL, USA) coupled via a Thermo GC IsoLink to a ThermoFinnigan DeltaPlus XP isotope ratio monitoring mass spectrometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific).
