Instrument: Computerized Tomography (CT) Scanner
A CT scan makes use of computer-processed combinations of many X-ray measurements taken from different angles to produce cross-sectional (tomographic) images (virtual "slices") of specific areas of a scanned object.
Used to collect coral slice densities measurements. Settings: 120 kV, 250 mAs, 0.6 mm slice thickness with images reconstructed at 0.1 mm increments using the H70h “Very Sharp Spine” window.
