Description

Wilkinson Basin is one of the three major basins, where depths exceed 200 meters, in the Gulf of Maine. The Wilkinson Basin Time Series station (WBTS) is located at a depth of 256 meters and is approximately 38 nautical miles from New Castle, NH, home port of the University of New Hampshire research vessel, R/V Gulf Challenger.
